Julius Randle came up with the perfect solution to atone for a poorly-timed turnover. After Tyler Herro turned Randle’s mistake into a driving layup that gave the Miami Heat a late one-point lead, the New York Knicks forward didn’t even flinch. On the ensuing possession took a feed from Jalen Brunson, and after nearly turning it over again two more times Randle righted the ship in the form of a game-winning step-back triple with 1.1 seconds left. Randle posted a game-high 43 points on 16 of 25 shooting — 8 of 13 behind the 3-point line — along with nine rebounds and three assists in the heart-pumping 122-120 victory on March 3, 2023. Randle was named an All-Star for the second time in three years in 2023, and his 25.1 points per game average was the best mark of his nine-year career.
