On his 38th birthday, LeBron James put together a throwback performance for the ages. James shows the Atlanta Hawks what he is still capable of in year 20, reaching into his bag of tricks for all of his greatest hits — driving layups and slams in traffic, a pull-up triple to beat the shot clock, a turnaround baseline jumper and even collecting a rare missed layup for a second-chance putback. James is his usual helpful self when assisting on a couple of Thomas Bryant layups, and then reminds the basketball world that there’s no play he can’t make when he beats a defender off the dribble before driving strong into the paint for an and-one bucket despite being surrounded by three defenders.
