Slow starts to a new season are nothing to overcome when Paul George is on your side. With his LA Clippers having dropped four of their first six games of the 2022-23 campaign, George had seen enough. After tying the game with a 3-pointer on the previous offensive possession, George delivered his team a much-needed victory when he dribbled and spun his way around Eric Gordon to give himself just enough space to pull the trigger on a difficult baseline fadeaway with 6.2 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter. The game-winner capped an incredible evening for George, who posted 35 points, nine rebounds, eight assists, six steals and five 3-pointers in his squad’s 95-93 victory over the Houston Rockets on October 31, 2022.
