Following a Bulls defensive stand against the Memphis Grizzlies, LaVine badly fooled Defensive Player of the Year Jaren Jackson Jr. by faking a drive into the lane before instead opting for a step-back 3-pointer. LaVine shot 13 for 19 from the field and scored 24 of his game-high 36 points after halftime as his team mounted a furious rally and outscored the Grizzlies 75-39 over the final two quarters.
