As confirmed by Layshia Clarendon’s one-of-a-kind performance to kickstart Year 11, the “fountain of youth” could be described as not too shabby, either. Reading the Atlanta Dream’s backdoor cut attempt like a children’s book, Clarendon invades a passing lane for a well-timed steal. Unfinished, Clarendon, like a bowling ball eyeing a strike, bounces off of multiple Dream defenders, finishing her ambitious fastbreak push with a heads-up feed to her All-Star teammate for a score.
