Marques Johnson was built for nights like this. The third overall pick in the 1977 Draft, the former UCLA national champion and first John Wooden Award winner had established himself as one of the Bucks' all-time franchise cornerstones, a five-time All-Star who averaged 20.1 points per game over his career and once sat third in the entire league in scoring. On May 5, 1984, in New Jersey, he gets the ball on the wing, attacks the rim with a full head of steam, and throws it down hard over Darryl Dawkins in exactly the style that made him a franchise legend whose No. 8 now hangs in the rafters in Milwaukee. Still making the building shake: the Wisconsin native turned 70 this February and posted a video of himself dunking it, as he has every birthday for 15 years running.
