Washington Wizards · The Washington Wizards have returned the familiar red, white and blue primary threads that they’ve employed over the course of the past decade, an extended return to the aesthetics of the previous Bullets era. As has become custom, the squad’s Icon and Association jerseys feature bold, patriotic striping and a subtle nod to the logo of yesteryear with a hand emerging from the ‘d’ in its alternate logo reaching for a basketball as in an opening tip. The organization’s Statement jersey once again embraces the team’s unique representation of “The District” with an aesthetic similar to the previous. With their 2022-23 City Edition jersey, the Wizards take a leap of faith and their bold cherry-blossom inspired pink fit is one of the most recognizable new looks of the season. Note the pink of the petals slowly transition into blue-rimmed shorts, a botanical shout out to the tidal basin the trees call home. Lastly, the club features a Classic Edition jersey harkening back to the previous generation’s blue and bronze look that formally ushered in the Wizards Era exactly 25 years before. · State of Mint · State of Mint
