Hungry for their first win in five home games, the New York Knicks took their frustration out on the defensive end against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Knicks exert pressure from the start, using relentless team defense that leads to a Jalen Brunson baseline block of Donovan Mitchell, while Quentin Grimes and Mitchell Robinson take turns hounding Darius Garland with a steal and block, respectively. Grimes also comes up with a steal on Kevin Love, and RJ Barrett ensures Caris LeVert can’t get into a rhythm with a timely theft. All told, the Knicks broke their skid tallying six steals and three blocks while forcing 17 turnovers.
