Right from the start, this season just seemed different for De’Aaron Fox and the Sacramento Kings. The Kings turned it over on an inbounds pass in the final seconds of overtime, allowing the Orlando Magic to tie the game with 2.5 seconds left. But Fox would not let his team lose as he took four dribbles on the ensuing possession and buried a buzzer-beating 3-pointer from the logo. It was just the eighth game of a still young season, but Fox’s 37 points on 14 of 24 shooting were a sign of things to come as the sixth-year point guard would later be named a first-time All-Star and help the Kings clinch their first postseason berth since 2006.
