After a 1-7 start to the 2023 season, Napheesa Collier and the Minnesota Lynx are reversing their fortunes one big shot at a time. After the Lynx had tied the game at 97 in overtime and forced a turnover on the next possession, the stage was set for Collier to play the role of hero. Collier faked a handoff to Kayla McBride following an inbounds pass and instead drove the right side of the lane before burying a game-winning stepback jumper with 1.8 seconds remaining.
