The Sacramento Kings returned to the postseason for the first time since 2006 and wouldn't have gotten there without first-time All-Star and All-NBA selection De'Aaron Fox. The sixth-year guard was also named the inaugural winner of the Clutch Player of the Year award after leading his squad to 48 wins and a Pacific Division title. Fox averaged 25.0 points per game and set career-highs in rebounds per game as well as field-goal and free-throw percentage. He and the Kings were part of the second-highest scoring game in history on February 24, a 176-175 double overtime win over the LA Clippers in which Fox scored a season-high 42 points, to go along with 12 assists and five steals.
