Domantas Sabonis was named to his first All-NBA team after leading the league with 65 double-doubles and a 12.3 rebounds per game average. The seventh-year forward also shot 61.5 percent from the field and dished out 7.3 assists per game — both career-bests — while putting up 19.1 points a night to earn his third All-Star selection in four years. Sabonis recorded four games of at least 20 points and 20 rebounds, and his 14 triple-doubles were second-best in the league while being one of just three players to log 10 or more during the 2022-23 season. He tallied 19 points, 15 rebounds and a career-high 16 assists in a win over the Houston Rockets on January 13, becoming the first Kings player since 1965 to log a 15-15-15 game.
