Washington’s veteran players brought the intensity as well, with Will Barton and Monte Morris each pestering the Grizzlies with steals. With Beal unavailable, Kristaps Porziņģis produced a game-high 25 points while adding two steals and blocks apiece, including a rejection of Aldama that kept the young Grizzlies big man searching for answers. Memphis shot just 9 of 28 from three-point range and committed 16 turnovers.
