Before a system could be built to yield a championship trophy, the Milwaukee Bucks had to lay the foundation. As Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton get set to enter Year 10 as teammates in Milwaukee, rewind back to the pair’s second season together: 2014-15. A month before making their first trip to the postseason together, the dynamic duo was on display in a three-overtime classic in Brooklyn. While Antetokounmpo’s dominance in the lane and Middleton’s smooth touch from beyond the arc were still developing, the potential was impossible to miss. The duo combined for 52 points, 22 rebounds, eight assists and five steals in this March 20, 2015 contest, and although the Nets won the game, the Bucks would get the last laugh when they famously battled past that same franchise six seasons later, en route to Milwaukee’s first title in 50 years. · Mar 20, 2015
