The 11-year veteran posted 41 points by halftime and finished the contest with a staggering 71 points on 22 of 38 from the field, 13 for 22 from downtown and a perfect 14 for 14 at the foul line while also chipping in six rebounds and six assists in the 131-114 win on February 26, 2023. Lillard became the eighth player in league history and second this season to score 70 in a game.
