The Milwaukee Bucks captured their fifth consecutive Central Division title in 2022-23, winning 58 games to finish with the Eastern Conference’s best record for the third time in five seasons. Giannis Antetokounmpo produced another magnificent season, earning his fifth straight All-NBA First Team selection and seventh consecutive All-Star appearance after averaging a career-best 31.1 points per game. The Greek Freak was third in MVP voting and has finished in the top-four every year since 2019. The Bucks ranked eighth in the NBA in points per game while also finishing as the fourth-rated defensive unit. Jrue Holiday earned his first All-Star berth since 2013 and was an All-Defensive First Team selection for the second time in his three seasons with the Bucks. Joining Holiday on the All-Defensive First Team was 15-year veteran Brook Lopez, who posted a career-high 2.5 blocks per game while leading the league in total blocks for the first time all while shooting a career-best 37.4 percent from downtown. Milwaukee’s quest for a second title ended prematurely when the team was bounced from the first round of the playoffs by the eighth-seeded Miami Heat in five games. · Dec 15, 2025
