Young and the Atlanta Hawks shook off a 17-point first-half deficit and fought back to force overtime against the Milwaukee Bucks. The fifth overall pick made a go-ahead bucket with 6.8 seconds left in the extra session, but the Bucks answered with one of their own with 1.1 left to set up a dramatic conclusion between East-leading Milwaukee and the underdog Hawks. Kevin Huerter’s inbounds pass was deflected in the paint by Brook Lopez, but Young was in the right place at the right time to snare the loose ball and flick up a game-winning 12-foot runner as time expired.
